TOWER C FUN FACTS
• The Tower C project began in December 2011. By July 2014, the construction team had logged more than 600,000 hours.
• The $125 million Dignity Health project was paid for through bonds, investment money, reserves and donations.
• The tower adds space and equipment to support the Level 1 trauma program with four trauma bays and a dedicated trauma operating room.
• The new tower includes a palliative-care lounge to provide a quiet space for family members of palliative-care patients.
• Tower C houses 300 hand-sanitizer dispensers, each containing 17 ounces of product. The tower is expected to use approximately 2,000 gallons of hand sanitizer each year.
The new area at the hospital covers a whopping 180,000 sq feet, with an additional 22,154 sq ft remodel. As always, Project Control is excited and grateful to be part of a project that does such important work and helps thousands of people every day.
